Hospital Auxiliary

The dedicated members of the Clearview Regional Auxiliary volunteer their time and talents to the hospital to help support our high standards of patient care, bring comfort and cheer to the patients and family, perform tasks that help lighten the load of the professional staff members.

Our gift shop is in located in the main lobby. The Auxiliary operates the gift shop as a service for both patients and visitors.  The shop offers a great selection of gift items including cards, silk flowers, specialty balloons, and candy, as well as puzzles, books and games that will provide entertainment for patients and visitors during their stay.

Volunteers range in age from 22 to 92 years old and include retirees and those who have a busy work week but still find time and a need to volunteer. Volunteers help in the emergency room, with medical records, the “sunshine” cart and anywhere there is a patient in need of help. Tasks can include helping at the front desk, greeting those apprehensive about being in a hospital with a comforting smile. Volunteers can also serve as couriers inside the hospital, shred documents and file records, and going room to room offering juice, cookies, magazines, a Bible or paper to write a letter.
